The Graduate Business Association's (GBA) mission is to increase the value of the Graduate Business Programs offered by UMass Boston's College of Management by extending member personal, academic and professional development beyond the classroom.

 

GBA programs and events enhance members overall positive experience by:

 

Facilitating the development of relationships with peers, alumni, faculty, and other professionals to increase employment and other opportunities

• Organizing and sponsoring social, learning, professional development, and academic events on and off campus
• Coordinating social and charitable community outreach events

 

Continuous improvement of the curriculum

• Acting as liaison between graduate business students and UMass Boston by holding meetings and events in which open communication is encouraged 

Enhancing member education and learning

• Coordinating and sponsoring learning and professional development workshops
