100 MembersExercise and Health Sciences Club (EHS)
What the EHS club will provide:
-For students already in the EHS program, it will provide a great networking tool to connect to you to other EHS students above or below your semester level, as well as many other EHS professionals not found at UMB. Networking is one of the biggest things to work on when you’re in the professional world; and to be able to start on that while still in school will help you immensely when you make the transition from school to the professional life.
Many Exercise and Health Science graduates pursue graduate study in a variety of areas, including:
- Exercise physiology
- Medicine
- Nutrition
- Occupational therapy
- Physical therapy
- Public health
- Health promotion
-For people simply interested in EHS related things, this club will provide with you with lots of information via seminars, workshops, lectures, meetups, and just being able to contact EHS students/faculty with questions or comments you have.
-Partnered with the Intramural program at UMASS to setup athletic events for those that love sports, but don't have the time that is required on legitimate teams.
